I recently graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction which I funded myself and completed part time.
My main research interests are user experience design, sociotechnical systems, user emotion and interaction design. I have also worked as a Research Assistant on the Mobiserv project at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, developing a personal intelligent robotic platform to support older adults to live independently in their homes.
I have been running my own business for over ten years and currently divide my time working as a web developer, writer and consultant.
